The Secret to a Fast Start
It mostly comes down to the physics of the filament and the gas inside. We use a high-density tungsten filament because it reaches operating temperature in a fraction of a second. To keep it from wearing out too quickly, we use a specific halogen cycle. This keeps the resistance steady, so you aren’t guessing about your heat levels. Now, if you go with a high-voltage setup, you’ll see an even faster ramp-up.
