Introduction
Here’s the thing: we built a heater module that’s a straight swap for Sidel Matrix machines—and honestly, for most of the PET blow molding world. The whole point? Give you a heating element you can drop right in, that can keep up with the tough thermal demands of modern blow molding, without trapping you with one OEM. Our bulbs are designed to match the original’s electrical and thermal behavior, so they fit directly into the vast majority of machines out there. No drama. No rework.
Power, Voltage, and Dimensions—Why It Actually Matters
Blow molding isn’t about brute heat. It’s about the right heat, in the right place, at the right density. Our halogen heater modules deliver intense infrared output in a small footprint. They run at high voltage, which keeps the current manageable on the wiring you already have. That means less voltage drop along the line, and steadier temperature where it counts—especially at the bottle neck and body. And physically? The length and diameter match the standard lamp well. So the element sits in the same focal plane as the original. That consistency keeps your heat profile even, and helps you avoid hot spots and cold seams that lead to rejects.
What It’s Made Of—Quartz, Coating, and the Details That Save You Time
The lamp body is built from high-purity quartz. It can handle rapid heating and cooling, and it doesn’t fold under the shocks of a busy production floor. Inside, a reflective coating pushes infrared energy forward, so you get more effective power without cranking up the total wattage. The halogen fill gas protects the filament, so output stays stable over the life of the lamp. For installation, we use R7s connectors—tough, proven, and designed for high heat. They let you swap the module quickly, without rewiring the heater block.
What This Means on the Floor: Uptime, Speed, and a Reality Check
In PET blow molding, uptime is everything. Our universal module drops straight into Sidel Matrix and compatible systems, so changeover is faster, and you don’t have to chase down proprietary parts. The high-voltage design lowers amperage, which eases stress on contacts and terminals. Meanwhile, the focused IR output heats fast—and repeatably. Now, a reality check: running high wattage in a tight space does raise ambient heat. So your cooling and airflow need to be up to the task, to keep everything around it within safe limits. It’s the trade-off for the heat density you need to cycle fast and keep the line moving.
