Inside, you’ve got a halogen-filled quartz tube. It keeps the filament temperature steady, so the output stays consistent even after repeated on/off cycles. No drift. No surprises. It snaps in without tools, gives you a solid electrical contact, and can take vibration and handling without breaking a sweat.
